This debut Artist on Fire show will be featuring 100 new abstract paintings of local artist Alex Radin alongside the drawings of his four year old daughter Elianna that inspired the show.

Each painting is 100 square inches and is being offered for $100. Artist on Fire wants to inspire new collectors and so a great thank you goes out to all of the sponsors and donors who have made it possible to offer the paintings at this price and to present this show.

Alex Radin will be teaching 10 weeks of art classes (one 2 hour class each week) with a focus on conceptual art. Each person who takes this course will take one idea that he or she has from start to completion and bring it through all the stages of development. Each week will focus on an aspect of the creative process from brainstorming and initial thumbnail ideas, through research and gathering reference, through the design process, through analysis of communication, and on to the execution of the vision. Each student will finish the class with his or her own completed project. Any medium is welcome.
