Thanks for visiting and for being patient as we continue to redesign the site. We are launching the guestbook today 2/18/07.

I always love to receive comments on my work and hear interpretations of the paintings so please feel free to speak your mind or sign the book just to let us know you visited and say hi. We hope to get the Forum up soon but in the meantime you can comment on the paintings here. If you are sharing a comment about a particular painting please include the title of the piece so others can track with you and respond as well.

So for those of you that sign the book ... thanks for introducing yourself. I hope I will get a chance to meet you in person at a future show.

Peace --- Alex

Your work grows into me. Truly. Every time I see 'Last Breath' it moves me closer to ... do Love... to be knelt, and courageous, and strong. For, for, for, and hope.

Thank you so much for strengthening us into worship, through your visions.

It is a pure blessing to worship with you and your family in this season.

Hey there ...I'm new at all this. Sat. I'm supposed to be painting during worship...honestly I like to paint on my hands and knees .... and in the quiet of my room. But I know the lord is pushing rather quickly out of my little box...I'm going shopping for that day and I was wondering if you could tell me some basic materials to purchase...thanks *crys

Alex - Your talent is so unique and your paintings make me want to ponder them for hours.
I am so drawn in by the painting 'Tent of Meeting'. I want to come out of the rain, cold and darkness and go into the tent, knowing He will be there along with warmth, dry cover and light.
What a gift you offer when you paint during worship - and watching each story unfold is amazing!

Hey!

Boy am I thankful these paintings are online.
They were like exquisite little keys to me when I saw them more often.

Thank you.

See you guys soon.

I'm playing with Mannie in Charleston in late September. It would be good to hang.

Peace.

There is no such thing as "browsing" your gallery. The more proper term would be getting lost in time. I don't know how to describe how your work speaks to me. Blessings to you, Sarah and Ellie (who's face has now been seen by more people than yours 8:{D>).

Alex -

Loved seeing "Refreshing" on your wonderful website. Even more, I love having the original in my living room and sensing the Lord's impartation of peace through it. Thank you for sharing your gifts and letting the Lord shine through your painting.

Blessings,
Amelia

Dear Alex,

It's great to see that you're continuing to serve the Lord with your art. I also like the fact that you've recently added a Guest Book feature to this web site.

Since I live in Chicago, I've never had the pleasure of seeing the creation of one of your "spontaneous paintings". Perhaps you should record such a session and make it available on DVD (and perhaps on YouTube) so that other artists and churches can be inspired by the possibilities and try such things in their own churches.

It's almost Easter, so I want to share one of my poems with you and with other readers of your forum:

-------------------------
The Tomb
(c) by Mark Pettigrew

"Why are you crying?"
they said to the woman.
"He is not here any longer."

"What do you mean?"
she replied with a start,
wishing her faith could be stronger.

Turning, she saw Him,
and soon realized
she beheld Jesus, her Master.

When it dawned on her
that Jesus had risen, her
heart beat faster and faster.

Oh, how magnificent,
oh, how divine!
Mary knew joy beyond measure.

Quickly, she ran to tell
all the disciples
of her amazing new treasure.
-------------------------

God bless you and yours!
